  1. I use BeSweet to turn avi .wavs to ac3 files, then I try to run them through ac3fix, however after I use ac3fix on them and run them through winamp, it seems unbelievably butchered. Maybe ac3 files arent supposed to be run stand alone on winamp or like tmc? Because what happens is the entire file is like repeats of 4 second audio clips in the file. The clips change, but they always repeat and this is obviously not something I want along with my video. I'm not sure if I described that well but what happens, lets say the audio starts off with a guy who says "hello today how are you" it will go "hello today h" "hello today h" over and over. This has now happened with 4 different wavs from 4 different video sources but I couldn't find any record of this through the search which makes me wonder if its supposed to come out like that.

    Thanks

Why do you run the besweet ouput through it every time ? If the output is OK, skip the fix.

  3. Try ffmpeg instead to convert WAV to AC3. And dont use AC3fix.

I found this command line app to work better than ac3fix.
