Is it possible to record a winamp video stream (.nsv) using some program and save it as mpg, wmv, or whatever?

    I used google,
Winamp Internet TV - NSV NullSoft Video. Play a Internet TV channel in Winamp.
The channel will be put in the Winamp Playlist.
Right click on that channel in the playlist and select File Info.
A URL will be listed there. Example: WeenTV
    http://205.188.234.33:8030/;stream.nsv

    These are SHOUTcast streams.
Use that URL in a SHOUTcast ripper.
    Tested with.
    RipCast.
    StreamRipper32
    StreamRipper Winamp Plugin.
It may also work in other SHOUTcast rippers as well.
If you use the Winamp Plugin it will also find that URL for you.
Some streams may need this User-Agent which you can set in the StreamRipper versions above.
    WinampMPEG/5.0

SHOUTcast rippers think that all downloaded files are MP3 files so all files saved will have a .mp3 extension.
Since you know you are saving NSV (NullSoft Video) files you will have to rename the file after it is
downloaded to change the extension from .mp3 to .nsv.

Streamsave allows you to save videos with the .nsv extension.
