  1. Ok, I have dvdshrink on 2 pc's and on one of them everytime I try to do a dvd it will go through for an hour and encode and get to 100% and then starts over. After the second time, it then prompts me for a blank dvd to burn.

Anyone got a clue why it's doing it twice?

The first pass is thanalysis pass. If you have Deep Analysis enabled it can take some time. The second pass is the encoding pass.

Deep Analysis alright. You can turn this off in the settings, though i would recommend it being on, as this gives improved overall quality.

It NEEDS to do that because you have it set to perfrom deep Analysis.

Why does it need to do that? Because you are trying to squeeze more than the blank can fit.

    Should you dissable it?

That's up to you. You will generally get better quality or should I say, preserve as much of the original quality of the dvd movie. It all depends on the original as well.

Movie only, minus all un-needed sound tracks and subs should get you as close to 100% and thus minimize the need for compressing.

Lots of guides on this prog are available. Check them out
