After ripping VOBs off Shrek, at the beginning they cycle "DreamWorks Pictures Presents" through a bunch of languages, each time repeating the same clip of music. Credits at the end of Pearl Harbor do this as well. Anyone else experiencing this? Other than cropping this from the frameserve or encode, what can I do to avoid this, either at the rip, the frameserving, or the encoding stage?

Smartripper> stream processing> enable stream processing and select only the one language, that you need. Also make sure you selected only one angle if there are more than one.

  4. T2 ultimate edition is multi-angled like hell

so far, the only dvd ripping proggie i was able to rip it with correctly is dvddecryptor (w/ multi-angle processing enabled)

but the multi-languges is prolly cuz the rip has multi-angles in it

  5. I had the same problem with Shrek - in fact there is another thread on here somewhere about it if you do a search.

At least for Shrek, the only 'side-effect' of that initial opening multi-language thing was that the audio became asynch by about .5 sec, which I corrected by adding silence to the beginning of the audio track in CoolEdit.

Thanks a bunch Truman. Angle 1 and English AC3 only sloved the problem on Pearl Harbor credits. Hell, the rips are about 80-85% of the full, I think I'm going to be a little more selective on my future rips. As for Shrek, haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure that will fix it too. Again, I appreciate everybodys help.
