    I have already burned DVD disc (PAL) , of my home video and I want to send one copy in USA to my friends . Do I have to encode to NTSC system or that is not necessery .

    For the USA, converting to NTSC is necessary. People in the US do not have multi systems so playback of PAL would be a problem.
