  1. I have been makeing VCD's for my DVD player without any problem so for DC it shouldn't be much harder.. I just got a DC today and want to begin learning how to make VCD's for it but, i need the software to do it. I tried the links under tools but one file was an invalid zip and the other needed a password which i don't have. from what i could tell the invalid zip is a file that you burn onto the disk along with the video clip. can anyone help me with where to get the software for it? also, i am now useing Nero to burn vcd's. can i still use it to burn DC vcd's or is there another burning program that is required to do it. THANKS..........

  2. I know this isn't helpful, but if you already have a DVD player, why would you burn VCDs for Dreamcast? I hear the playback quality is absolutely terrible.

  5. I'm a new Dreamcast owner, but my understanding is you don't need to convert a movie differently specifically for the DC. You should be able to play the same VCD's you play in your other player, you just need a 'VCD Player' disc booted first. Do a search or I can email you one I have. I only tried it once, it played like crap but it did play, but the VCD I tried was actually an XVCD (non-standard), so not sure if that makes a difference. Good luck.
