  1. I am very interested in integrating my PC with my home theater via my ATI AIW 9800 Pro vid card. Which forum here would be the appropriate place to raise my questions? If not videohelp.com, is there another heavily used forum someone could suggest? I've struck out at UseNet on this issue.

    Thanks everyone -

  3. Thanks folks!

i figured any HT discussion may be beyond the scope of this site, which is a bummer since in my opinion videohelp.com is easily the most heavy-traffic forum I've ever frequented. I'll give these a shot and we'll see how it goes.

    Thanks again -

  4. There's lots of us that run HTPC's or PVR's of one sort or another. Many are members of those other forums as well.
Just post in whatever forum here seems closest to your question.

  5. well, in reviewing the names and rules of the different forums, it seems to me that this (newbie / gen discussion) is probably the most appropriate!

I will start a new thread here and see how things go at the threads I've started on some of the forums suggested.

    Thanks Jim -

  6. I noticed your canada-themed avatar and am listening to a Hip concert from Chicago in 2002 and it occurred to me to ask. Maybe someday they will have the respect and success they deserve here in the u.s.

  8. Yeah, I downloaded an mpeg of their performance at the Juno awards that apparently preceded the HOF induction. They played Fully Completely and Grace Too at the Junos and then at the HOF ceremony Gord Downie read a five-minute poem. There's actually a recording of it set to music at the hip's site, www.thehip.com. it's a weird poem and even weirder when you consider that it made its debut at a HOF induction, but it's kinda cool.
