  1. Hi the last movie that I tried to burn came up with this messege during the encoding process of dvd shrink.

    "Dvd shrink encounterd an error
    Failed to read file D:\.
    overlapped I/O "

    does any1 know what this means does it mean that the disc was abit scratced or something like that? thx all

    Try ripping with DVD Decrypter

  3. If you get the same thing with DVD Decrypter, you have a bad disc. I/O errors are disc problems. You should first try cleaning the disc. If that doesn't work, you can try repairing the DVD with a repair kit shch as Skip Dr or Repair Dr. I've had two discs recently that gave me I/O errors. One became readable after repairing. The second was damaged beyond repair. Damage can be from scratched discs or internal problems with bad quality media.
