TMPGEnc DVD problem

I am trying cut out some scenes from a DVD I have useing TMPGEnc DVD but I am haveing a problem with it recognizeing 5.1 audio sources. I see that there is a plug in for two channel dolby digital, but what can I do about it not being able read the 5.1 audio format?

Also, on a side note would VideoReDo re-arthur the DVD like
TMPGEnc DVD will after cutting out some scenes?

tmpgenc dvd author should be able to read 5.1 audio. are you importing vobs from a dvd? how did you make the clips?

Without the AC-3 plugin, TMPGEnc DVD Author cannot encode to AC3, but should be able to read it just fine. I frequently import video from dvds that contain AC-3. In the 'edit' window, I don't get any sound when I play the clip, but it authors fine.
