    Hi there

I recently bought a DVD burner (BENQ DW1620) and installed it and am using Nero Express 6. I have a 19GB hard drive with about 9GB of software and files on it. However, after burning a few DVDs I noticed that my hard drive only had about 1GB of space on it. Initially I uninstalled a few unneccesary programs and then noticed I had 9GB free again. I've copied a few DVDs recently and had no problems. However after copying a DVD today I then tried to copy another. However, I got a message saying that I had no free space left on my hard drive. It appears that somehow my PC is saving the image of the DVD I'm copying. I think it may be something to do with buffer underruns or to do with the buffer cache. How can I prevent this from happening? It seems like everytime I copy a DVD I just get a hard drive full of data that I can't find or delete.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Look in c:\Documents and settings\username\temp
    Delete everything in that folder.

I think its probably time you upgraded your hard drive.

19GB is very limited, especially with backup of dvds, considering each dvd is like approx 7GB.

Thanks for the advice - I've deleted everything in the temp folder - hopefully that should free up spme space. Thanks
