  1. While attempting to rip an anime episode from a dvd using DVD Decrypter, It stopped and gave me the following error message

    I 22:59:01 Extracting Sectors...
    W 23:01:46 Failed to read Sector 2356735 - CIRC Unrecovered Error
    What should I do?

  2. Thats a read error. You could clean the disk and try again. Or you could set it to ignore read errors.

  3. the disc is perfectly clean and has no scratches...
    could this be a disc manufacturing error? should i try to get a replacement?

    what would happen to the vid quality if i set to ignore read errors?

    but could you rip from a different drive.

  5. Are you using the latest version of DVDDecrypter ? Try ripping with DVDShrink with compression setting set to "No Compression".
    When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.

  6. i'm pretty sure that it's the latest version...

    guess i have 3.2.3.0 ...

    according to dvddecrypter.com, the latest version is 3.5.4.0, so i guess it's upgrade time...

    i'll try ripping agin with the latest version and see how it goes. if it still messes up, then i will try to set it to ignore read errors and see how that goes

    ... yup. i always forget to upgrade my programs . . .
