  1. I ripped a DVD with DVD clad, and it gave me a 5.6GB vob file, which is what I want! beacuse I did this before and had no problem. So I went to open it up in MPEG-VCR3.14 and it gives me a minute of nothing. Now I know something is wrong cuz the other DVD in the set worked just fine when I opened the VOB in mpegvcr. It let me edit out when I wanted. Ok so I tried it again, and same thing...a minute of black video in mpegvcr. Ok so I opened it in VirtualDubMod 1.5.1.1 and cut out a segment, and encoded in TMPGenc, but the audio and video is so way off that it's not correctable, even with skew correction in TMPG. VDub gives me a progressive skew through the entire 5gb vob file it seems once it finally loads in there. It takes a while with a file that large, and is prolly not even meant to handle large files like that. Now I know this is prolly related to the length of the 1 big vob file, but I am going back to rip it the other way with dvdclad where it will give me a series of 1GB vob files. We will see if that helps, however I am seeking advice on if anyone can lend any assistance with this problem. Perhaps there is other software that someone knows of that will do this job easier for me. Thanks again for any help you can offer me.

  2. Hmmm, I am not really sure I have understood the problem. You can try first to demux the vob with ReJig and after that to cut out what you want with Cuttermaran.
