    Hi Pals,
I'm having a problem in compressing my assets to fit on a regular dvd-r using DVDSP 3. I had this kind of a problem before but I solved recompressing the audio files with A-Pack. But now is different. I already export two video tracks files from FCP, using COMPRESS and the audio files are also compressed with A.PACK. Now They are MPEG2 files and together have 5.9 GB and I haven't make my Menus yet.... I red somewhere that could be possible to compress more using the DVD2oneX. Is it true ? And if is true, do I have to "build" the DVD on DVDSP (creating the VIDEO_TS files) before using the DVD2oneX ? I bought the DVD2oneX when I had the first problem but I found an answer before using it that's why I don't know how to use it or what it is for.....
    thanks to you all....

author your dvd how you want it in dsp. then build it, once built take your video ts folder to dvd2onex and then choose disk copy and have it recompress it more.

one thing to do if you didn't do it or know already is to use a bitrate calculator to figure out what bitrate to use on your footage that is x minutes long. usually you only need to worry about this when you go over 90 minutes.

As I haven't got an answer for my post I was just about to start setting up DVD2oneX to process the VIDEO_TS files that I got doing the building process in DVDSP when I got your reply. Thanks very much. It just reenforced what I was thinking about the problem. And I have to say that it worked just fine !! I followed the steps on the tutorial of MR. GALLACTICA with little diferences of my job.
I still have some questions to solve in the future and hope to have the help of you all as I'm having so far.... .
    Greetings........
