hey all,
its one of those super 8 questions.
I want to make my video look like super 8.
I have the plugin by Digieffects Cinelook, but what I want is to assimilate that
"variation" of light that pass through AND also the black rounded faded border.
How can I go about achieving those?
I tried to do a nice faded border through Photoshop, but it looked crap!
anyways,
thanx

You could try searching the web for borders and clip art/stock photos. There is alot of free stuff out there.
Do you also have the filmdamage plugin that goes with cinelook ? It has a flicker function that simulates the rotating shutter of old projectors.Read my blog here.

Yes I do have the filmdamage. Quite nice plugin.
Will keep on working on it. Thx for yer reply -
you can try the shine plug-in, even get a free tutorial at wriggly, that's http://www.wrigleyvideo.com/ get the shine plug-in here >> http://www.pluginz.com/product/10260?category=18&genre=6
or somewhere else, anyways, I used it and love it, gives a glowing edge but yet the image appears burned in. Get the tutorial first.
Hope that helps.
