    well I've been makin SVCDs w/ TMPGEnc for the last 20 days... overall it hasnet been too bad... but my 30 Trial is running out... I was wondering (cuz i'm kinda too lazy to actually find out for myself) if once the trial runs out if i can just re-install it or if i have to find a crack or something. I would buy the damm thing but you can't. Also i was wondering how much difference there is between an VCD and an SVCD. Is the difference really that big? Cuz I've made some pretty nice VCD which (i think) are comparable to SVCDs. Thanks

  2. BTW - This is not a crack, hence the reason I can post it for you...
    Now you can use the wonderful software TMPGEnc without MPEG-2 function 30
    days restrictions.

    Please be careful when editing the Windows registry - a damaged registry
    means that Windows will not boot.

    Do the following:

    1- Start the Regedit.exe program on the windows folder.
    2- Execute Regedit.exe.
    3- Erase the key:
    My computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}

    Now, try to open TMPGEnc and just click on Help/About.
    It will appear this message: "You can use MPEG-2 funcion as trial for more
    30 days"

    Don't forget to repeat these procedures to each 29 days.
