When i extract audio from a divx movie using virtual dub the quality is far away from good. The sound is very low quality. what can i do?

I've converted it to 44,100, and tried the original 48,000(that sounded worse). Virtual Dub isnt working for me.
It there maybe some other programs I can use?

Does the original DiVX movie have bad sound? If so, there isn't much you can do. Crap in, crap out.

I found out what the problem is. My pc.....
I tried the same with a good computer and the sound was fine. Maybe it's my soundcard...I don't know. Thanx anyway!
