Subrip is working good, but after i save matrix file for future sub, then i open another sub with the saved matrix file . Then subrip force me to reconize character matrix again ?! Of course i opened the matrix file was created in the first time .

AND, the problem is , after i did this, i cannot run program again , lol, even uninstall it and reinstall it , im ghosting my windows back for fix this problem ., .. so sad !

Btw, if i use Vobsub - subresync, its work good too, but , it doesnt allow me to create a matrix file for another sub, and i must do reconize one by one Sub !!! Omg, what a waste .

Any better program can convert Sub with idx to Srt (

The character matrix is for one typeface only. It'd be plain luck, if 2 different DVDs have the subtitle rendered in exactly the same typeface. Only time there's any real point in saving the character matrix is when you have a >1 DVD set, like a Futurama season, or something like that.
Why SubRip doesn't work well with XP I cant tell you, but on my system, it works about once out of 3 tries. Seemingly completely at random, it crashes right at the start, but now and then works without any problems. Strange indeed.
