  1. im not sure exactly where to put this so ill put it here and another post on another video site, but when i go to a folder full of

.ogm's or .ogg's (i forget which they are, i deleted them right away cause i ddint want that problem to occur over and over)

i get an error with WIndows Explorer and it shuts down (it closes all the windows of folders open) and then the startbar goes away for a few secondsa nd everything refreshes

any clue what this may be?

Not sure that MS's thumbnail shell extension works for ogg/ogm's. If it does then that could be it.

What filters do you have installed for ogg/ogm playback?
    Illiminable's, Radlight's, Tobias' or Gabest's?

For ogg's Tobias' or Gabest's only support vorbis and Illiminable only has limited ogg support.

Those aren't used for playback, so I can't see how they could be the cause.

Anyway I think Tsunami installs Tobias' original filters. So I guess try uninstalling them and installing say Radlight's ogg/ogm filters instead. Tobias' filters haven't been updated in years.

Also above should read "Illiminable only has limited ogm support".
