I know the question has been asked before. However, with so many versions of TMPGEnc (12a, ... 12h), it's hard to keep track of.
I am using 12a and 12f (mostly 12f) at this time. I noticed 12f is about 25% faster (SVCD) and did not see any quality issue.
Can you guys share your opinion ?

i heard something about anything after 12a isnt worth using like it doesnt do certain things it did before or something like that... not sure exactly just kinda gettin into this stuff myself.

I had always that 12"b" to "g" was really bad. I used to use 12a exclusively. However, I just tried it with 12h last night (SVCD, of course) and the result was pretty good. The author does claim improved encoding quality with 12h and it does deliver.

So is version h faster than a?
If it is true that it is 25% faster then I would sacrifice video quality any day.
