I am confused as to why toast titanium 6.1 claims (under disc info) that a DVD+R has 7.8 gigs? Is this true or just a bug?

And also, why do DVD+Rs have an RW logo on them? Are they rewritable?

    Wikipedia info
The DVD Forum created the official DVD-R(W) standards. The DVD+RW Alliance created the competing DVD+R(W) standard. Since DVD+R(W) discs are not technically DVDs as per the DVD Forum standards, they are not allowed to display the DVD logo; instead, they display an "RW" logo.

well.. its a made-in-japan, Maxell DVD+R disc. On it says 4.7Gigs.. but toast reports it as 7.8 gigs interestingly. I just burnt something on there already but it wasn't 7 gigs...

  8. Update to 6.0.9. That will fix the problem.
