With besweetgui and windvd can you convert your dts file into another file

I can write a guide but my English isn't perfect.

But you must sure you lose ALWAYS quality.
It's logical , but dts to 5.1 ac3 is the min quality losing.

Hypercube transcoder is an another tool for trying to convert

Check doom9 - there's an entry from 04/25 that claims that "Auto Gordian Knot 2.07 supports DTS audio in AVI files" that might help.

Probably means DTS in an avi, not DTS converted to mp3 and then stored in an avi.

Foobar2k is another solution. Make sure that you have the DTS input plugin.

Yes, it does. In reply to

Indicates that at least muxing is possible (which in turn indicates that remuxing should be possible).

DTS muxing in avi has always been possible. Well at least it has for ages, since I think it was Gabest wrote the first DTS parser filter for playback and AlexNoe added support in AVIMuxGUI. It was a long time ago though.

I just re-read though and they demuxed the DTS stream from an avi and they want to remux it?

Seems so to me - maybe CrisCr0ss might enlighten us? His second post tells me that it's for a standalone, and I'm not sure if the dvp642 supports DTS in AVI...
Anyho, a quick google for "DTS to wav" turned up this as the first link... Once you've got the wav, you can encode it to whatever format you want.
