I need a suggestion on a high quality photo show program like ProShow Gold -- but higher res...
playback will be at 2000x1500 or higher ... proshow's encoder softens the images to much ... irfanview also has a simple one - again, to much compression ..
it also need to be a self contained exe file .... basically like proshow - but higher quality ....
darn if I can find anything -

In ProShow Gold, when you go click on create executable, you can click on manually limit image resolution and make it whatever you want to be. Wouldn't this work for you?
To me Proshow Gold is God when it comes to making any kind of photo slide show presentation. If you find something better, I sure would like to see it. -
It is a great program - but still to much compression (I did what you said) --the images are still softer compared to the original targa frames (already pre-sized)
