    I have been told by a few people that you can drop and drag using Win XP. However when I put a unformated CD RW in and try and drop and drag using explorer it says 'Drive is not accessible incorrect function'.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    is xp recognizing your drive as a cdrw drive, go to properties and check? Is it your only cdr drive, if not it must be the master device, xp only recognizes a cdrw if it is the first cdr it encounters.
