  1. I would like to trim some frames from the end of an AVI file, as I am quite able to do with MPEG files using MPEG-VCR.

This is because there is an overlap when I join two AVI files together and I would like to remove this problem.

Which piece of software is best to use?

I have tried AVIedit and can never seem to get it to work. Is there another / better piece of software?

  2. Use Virtualdub or VirtualdubMod, there are guides for doing so here.

  3. THAT's the one!

Back in the day, when I had never edited anything, I downloaded it.

I have almost exclusively been editing MPEGs with MPEG-VCR and forgot about it.

    Thanks for the reminder.

It seems to have done the trick, guideless.
