Hello all
I am a total NooB at VCD burning. I downloaded a few movies in .avi format. I then used tmpg to convert to VCD format. The mpg is 1gig is size. I guess I now must cut this in 2 and put it on 2 CD's? I used mpeg tools in tmpg went to the cut tab, loaded the file went to edit, hit the [ at 00.00 then hit the ] at 51mins which is half way through the movie. I then hit Run and I get a floating point error. what am I doing wrong? I cannot cut any of my Mpeg 1 files, I tried 2 different files.
Also it takes me about 1 hour and 10mins to convert a 700meg avi to VCD is this fast?
My system is:
AMD XP 1800+
Abit kr7a Raid M/b Via kt266a
512megs DDR ram
2 X 30gig IBM Hd's in RAID 0
TIA
MosH
