    Hello,

I finally bought the game today (PC version). Man I love it! And my pc runs it no problem. And I can run it perfectly smoothly at 1024x768 with my Radeon 9250. Beautiful graphics! Excellent gameplay.

I can't wait to play online with this. Should be tons of fun!

    Bump!

I just played a bit more of it. Looks really good. I'm going to have to learn all the squad commands. I'm really just going solo and having them tag along on the first level. But they have the bigger droids that need concentrated fire and I'll have to learn how to direct the squad to get them.

    Great game.

  3. Hey Yoda,

I got a copy of Jedi Knight Outcast that you
    commended , but I hated it :/

This has to be one of my least liked games, ever.
How you managed to get entertainment out of it
is a mystery to me! Was it just because it
    is based on Star Wars?

    The game play was
boooorring!! Too many silly switches, way too much of
having to retrace your steps. You also had to keep
going back time and time again to help kyle's lady friend.

The storyline was boring enough; but adding to that
were cheap rendered cut scenes - just awful compared
to Jedi Knight's excellent movie style presentation
    and suspenseful plot.

    Hello,

    I love JK2!!!

Yes the cg cutscenes weren't as inspired as the live action elements of JK1. But just the total freedom of movement compared to the first. Everything was fully realized more.

Plus having Williams voice LANDO was a nice touch

  5. I played the demo of Republic Commando and it felt very confined to me. It was a nice idea, but not quite all there.

Strategy was nearly non-existent. You either had them snipe, throw grenades or run in guns blazing. However, there were good points. I enjoyed the concept of teammates coming to revive fallen comrades. And I felt they did a fairly nice job teaching the AI how to cover themselves before rushing to complete a command.

However, like I said, overall the strategy seemed lacking and in team based games like this, it should be all about proper positioning, planning, and out maneuvering your opponent. Instead it felt like they took Halo, slapped Star Wars on the box, and tried to make it a stealth game. Halo’s great, but call a spade a spade, it’s a shooter game, not stealth.
