  1. I'm trying to rip Attack of the Clones to my hard drive. I'd like to use Smartripper because I hear it's the best, but so far it has failed me miserably. I get the anylyze IFO ASPI device message, and my PC freezes. I've installed ForceASPI -- still have the problem. I've also tried running Smartripper while the DVD is running with PowerDVD (my PC's DVD player) hoping ASPI is doing its job during playack -- still no luck. It's a VERY frustrating dilemma. I'm running Windows XP. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated....

    Thanks.

    Try installing Adaptec's ASPI .

  3. Did that already too. Shows all four components, and says,"ASPI is properly installed and is fully operational. A total of two host adaptors have been detected."

    Still no dice.
