Sometimes you can right click it and select properties.

On the playing video. If nothing happens, the website has disabled it with java script.

You can try turning off java script in the browser, buth this often means the page will no longer load.

Try right clicking the referring link to the streaming media and select "copy link location."

Sometimes that will not work (blocked, javascript, etc.) In that case, select 'View>page source' (<ctrl> U) on Mozilla based browsers) and search for the link to the media. If you know the type of clip you're looking for you can search for the extension.

    Good luck.

If it Widows Media format (ie asf ,wma ,wmv) the url will have those as a suffix , if its Real Media it`ll be a rm , ra , rmvb suffix with a rtsp: prefix (you probably wont get a Real url this easily ) .
If Mozilla gives you a URL of a file with a .asx suffix , then download this and open it with notepad and take a peek inside , this will usually give you a url with a prefix of mms: and a suffix of wmv wma or asf .
As Baldrick states above , software like WMRecorder will download the file for you unless its Real .

If its a Quicktime file thats another kettle of frogs .

If the url is well hidden you`ll need software to do packet sniffing .

I would think that its ok for you to post the link to the video, but not ok for anyone to post the url you need , we can only tell you how to theoretically obtain it . Can a moderator confirm this ?
