How can i be able to shrink 2 people using Adobe Premiere version 6.5 or Version 7.0 Pro. Im not familiar with 6.5, as i have started using Adobe Premiere version 7 pro, but i can easily learn 6.5 if necessary. The school has these programs, but i have Video Vegas 5B i think, and i know how to use it a bit, and i was wondering if i could shrink people in any of these programs. Sort of what im looking for would be something like the movie "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" or something like that. I have a Green Chroma Board, i dont know if that helps?

Shoot the poeple you want to change (make smaller or larger etc) in front of the green screen. Make sure you evenly light the screen, and have some backlighting on the subjects to seperate them from the screen.

Load the two into Vegas as seperate video tracks, with the green screen track above the background track. Right-click on the greenscreen track and select Video FX, then choose the Chroma Keyer filter. When this loads, choose Green Screen from the top drop-down.

This is whne you learn the sad truth - consumer DV is shite for keying. You will find that because of the way DV compresses the image, it is very difficult to extract a clean mask.

Something like after effects is a much better choice, especially with with the Keylight keyer or DV Garage's own keyer, DVMatte. Otherwise you need multiple layers of masks and blurs egdes to really get a nice clean key.

Bets place to get prices is either Adobe or your nearest Adobe reseller. It's not cheap, although the staard edition isn't too bad (certainly cheaper than my favourite - Digital Fusion). I don't think you get Keylight in the stadnard version - I think you need the more xpensive production bundle for that. Look at DVGarage's DVMatte - very nice it is.
