  1. An OGM file I have plays the video far too quickly (maybe as much as 2x) for the sound to match. The characters on film move ridiculously quickly. Is there any way I can correct this? Thank you in advance for your much needed assistance .

  3. I was using BS Player to play it. I don't know about the video/audio codecs; how can I find about this?

I'm really sorry for my noobishness .

Never used BS Player. Does it contain its own ogm splitter, etc. or used whatever is installed?

Also does it give info on the file like in Media Player Classic if I play an ogm I get:
    Video: XVID 640x496 25.00fps
    Audio: Vorbis 48000Hz stereo
    or:
    Video: XVID 640x480 23.98fps
    Audio: Vorbis 48000Hz stereo
    Audio: Vorbis 48000Hz stereo

Otherwise try something like GSpot, although I am not sure that it supports ogm's. Media Info does though I think. Anyway there is a guide or whatever on identifying media files around here someplace isn't there?
