I downloaded a movie and it's in a bunch of RAR files. Usually I just extract the first one and it's all good, but now when I try to extract ANY of them, it says that there are no files to extract, though there clearly is a bin and cue file in each folder.

has anyone else had this problem and how do i fix it

  8. You take your chances out there. That's why I wouldn't reccomend downloading from "friends".

Are there any PAR or PAR2 files? Also if it was created with recovery data you might be able to repair it.

Can you TEST the file to see if there are any errors?

  11. Sounds to me like an non-complete download or some type of corruption has occurred.

I've seen, and expirenced many zip, rar, tarball etc files that showed all the files, and even sometimes showed the correct archive file size, but the actual download was incomplete or corrupted.

Try re-aquiring the file from your friend(s) and if it occurs again, try a different method of transfer (if its mucking up over Yahoo, try irc, ftp etc).
