Hello, i looked on the other topics and couldnt find my answer. I can open and run this file normally using Windows Media Player. Anyways I open my file in vitual dub and check the file information, it says 2 channels but the compression says unknown (tag 0055). I click on full processing mode and on compression i leave as No compression, I also change conversion to 41000. When i click on save .wav it says
No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format
I even have the AC3ACM codec installed. I even tried changing compression to MP3 or MPEG 3 but it still doesnt work. I dont know why it does this, please help. If this helps the file is
the.simple.life.s03e04.mortuary.pdtv.xvid-FQM.[BT]
maybe its the FQM is another codec i need?
My ultimate goal is to convert this as a VCD using TMPEG but i need to convert the audio since TMPEG wont recognize the audio as well.
Thank you.

Warez did you get that file from ? Open it up with GSPOT and it will tell you the audio codec.

Yes I opened it up with GSPOT and it says I already have the supported codecs installed. Also the codec is just a regular one that i normally use to play all my other video files [0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3] for the audio codec.
