These "interesting" sites only review and/or recommend software they have for sale.

LMAO, Thread title is a bit misleading as none of them are new :P and neither are the pages as they've been about ages

as drjtech mentions, they are just sites that promote high commision software . They're not your sites are they?

Not in the slight bit. I was just curious as to why these software are'nt listed here? I've tried 3 of the sotware listed.

    1. 1 click dvd copy, the pic was good, thou not as fast as they claim it 2 be, also if keeping DTS audio one will have to select it to play from the menu options from remote or player.

    2. DVD Cloner II, uses DVDshrink 3.175 as the transcoder.

    3. DVDX Platinum, the pic on a large transcoded movie was clear of artifacts, however one can see the pic fading in and out.

DVD Cloner II, at $49.99, rips off the author of DVD Shrink without permission, and gives the customer (that is, the sucker) an old version of a free program. The other programs listed are no better.

That is why these programs are not promoted on legitimate sites like VideoHelp.

I'm in Alexandria. Nice to see there's a friendly face on here, who know, maybe we passed each other in the Bestbuy or sumthing.

It's possible. I don't tend to keep a low profile.

And THIS is why I tell people that when the movie companies target the "most popular DVD copy programs by market share", they don't even KNOW about DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter.

THAT crap on those pages is what people BUY. *shrug*

There are others that I'm sure is just as trivial. I'm interested to gain more knowledge on LG1X encoding tech that's used in 1 click dvd copy?

I think that's a code word for "stolen". Maybe it's a permutation of "L33T!" or something. This seems to be a shill for the DVD43 people, y'know that 3rd-rate for-pay CSS remover?
