The Best DVD Player for a Decent Price...

Hey,

I am looking for a very good DVD player for a low price.
I know about the DVD player section, and I have reviewed it many times, but I wanted to also get some people's opinions, not just the ones there, but other ones, cuz the DVD player section doesnt give you enough options.

What I am looking for, is a DVD player that can play DVD-R, DVD+R, and basic other needs. Those are the only immediate requirements, and I know for a low price, you wont always get everything in the world, but some other things I would LIKE, but are not needed, are...
DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CDR, CDRW, MP3, DivX, XviD, VCD, DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL.

Also, it needs to be available in the USA.

I have a progressive scan Pioneer and a cheap Chinese made player, Norcent. They both work great. Two friends of mine recently bought DVD players and they were told the Philips model play everything. You may want to check out the latest Philips model.

If you have a HDTV, or are planning to get one, then get a progressive scan player.
