Hi
I have a camcorder panasonic nv gs15.
I want to put my movie on a dvd.
I've got a pc with usb and firewire connection.
The cam has dv output and usb output.
Which is the best way (dv or usb) to capture my movie ?
Thankx in advance

using usb or firewire isn't actually capturing, it's transfering digital data.
You have to use firewire to transfer home videos onto a computer. USB on a camcorder is only for transfering pictures and on some models using the camcorder as webcam.
Webcam video is really low quality.
Use firewire to transfer the DV to your computer.
Read the manual to your camcorder.snappy phrase
I don't know what you're talking about. -

I did try to capture with usb cable. And the qulity was poor.
So I have to buy a firewirecable
