    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-122-202R&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE

    into that computer.

which slot is the pci-e x16?

I'm assuming that's a PCI-E motherboard, then the top black slot. The white slots are probably regular PCI slots.

And sure, you can add 2 more sticks. If it uses DDR dual channel memory, then you use the two remaining slots. You will probably have to add 2 sticks for the dual channel to work properly, match all memory sticks if possible. You may have to make adjustments in BIOS to get the best memory performance. All this info should be in your motherboard booklet.

    Which motherboard is that, anyway?

The black slot at the top is the 16X PCI-E slot for graphics cards.

The small white slot at the bottom is a regular PCI-E slot for expansion cards.

The other two white slots in the middle are regular PCI Slots.

You can install the card, plug the monitor into it and load Window$, then load the latest drivers.

Id recommend uninstalling your current drivers, shut down pc, insert card in pc, boot up and install latest drivers for your new card.

as for the moniot cable, it depnds which monitor you have, if you are a TFT/LCD screen, you can use the white DVI port (provided you monitor accepts this), if you have a CRT monitor (the bulky ones), use the blue vga port.
