After reading some comments about changing the value of qmin for different reasons I got curious and tested to see what visual impact varying qmin would have, and thought I'd share.
Test done using ffmpeg MPEG2 at "best" bitrate with all options off. Views at 400%. File sizes: qmin=2 42megs, qmin=4 36megs, qmin=6 29megs, qmin=8 25 megs, qmin=10 22 megs.
