  2. You can get the new GS150 for about $699 at B&H. IMHO, the Panasonic GS line is the best cam this side of $1200.

  3. i just got the pvgs 150 from onecall.com 2 days ago. this thing is freaking amazing. i know all the tech reviews say "bad low light, washed colors etc...", but let me tell you this--they must be using some serious equipment to be picky about this cam. for the average person shooting home vids, YOU WILL NOT GET A BETTER CAM FOR LESS THAN 700 BUCKS!! go to the store and test it. on a cloudy dreary day, my older sony hi8 would look grainy and horrible. this panasonic ran complete circles around it. with my sony, any left to right or vice versa movement of the cam would blur noticeably. this panny does not do that. in sunlight, the thing is absolutely amazing. put it this way, my mom, non techie to say the least, was amazed at the color quality. i got mine from onecall for 600, plus an extra battery and a uv protective lens for a total of $691.i am totally, one thousand percent happy i went with this cam. if quality is your main goal, look nowhere else than panasonic pvgs 150.
