I tend to agree with the ALAN SPENCER the creator of "SLEDGEHAMMER" NO! (no offense to those who do, just not one of my more prized shows to reminisce about...)

    Hello,

    !!!!!

Yes but not in the way you think. MST3k - ie MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATRE 3000 took some of their episodes and made "MANHUNT IN SPACE".

    Rocky and WINKY

heh i got series 1 thru 6 of red dwarf on dvd now, and well worth the money they were too - the bbc did a REAL good job with the transfer and all the bonus materials. each one was only £12.99, but has 6 episodes (3 hours, almost) with full commentary, and a full bonus dvd in the box.

only problem is now, all the classic 'good' series have been dispensed with, but if i want to complete the set and have the matched-up spines looking proper rather than stopping 3/4 across, i have to get the rather naff series 7 and 8 as well, when they come out. oh well..... the price we pay, etc...

In perspective with that, CoG was a full 39 episodes o_O;, ..... thats a LONG time for anything to run (see - my RD dvds are only up to 30 eps of the same length) never mind a hand drawn, plot driven cartoon.

dukes of hazzard / a-team / knight rider are being regularly repeated on the Bravo channel over this side of the pond airwolf too i think!

i also have "just the words" in hardback (xmas present).... it's rather a tough read, so i'd reccomend packing it for a long trip where you have no movie (or it's likely to be rubbish) rather than for browsing at home or on the beach...
-= She sez there's ants in the carpet, dirty little monsters! =-
Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more!

I forgot his one, The Little Rascals. Mind you this is a little on the classic side. I remeber some of the episode. I always like they way the made things from junk, the club house, and the "he-man woman haters club". The vaudeville*shows. I wonder if any are still around?

Just remebered a few others Fat Albert, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Roger Ramjet. What about that Mountie and his horse? and didn't the Globe Trooters have thier own cartoon? -garman

  19. What? Noone's into the Thunderbirds (original puppet TV show)?

There's another show that I used to watch (when I was in Canada) but can't remember the name. It's basically just a one-man show with one guy (always in a suit) sitting on a chair with a glass of water in front of him and he tells all this jokes for 30 minutes. IT WAS AWSOME, funny as hell (I remember he had a section of his index finger missing and he was from the UK I think, because of his accient).

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Oh...and Combat, Night Gallery, Twilight Zone

    Dave Allen, that's right!!

I used to love that show so much that I had someone taped the sound track for me (using one of those cassette recorders and put it in front of the TV) so that I can listen to them later.

    Hi,

Yep. Not vividly but I do. It was on around the same vicinity of MAGNUM PI and NIGHTRIDER and other cop type shows. Kind of fun.
