    hey, i have burned a DVD file format a map called DVD-video i have burned with nero 6 (tried burning iso and DVD video) anyway powerDVD plays my VIDEO_TS but my DVD player not (there is nothing wrong with my DVD player) i have created a DVD menu with DVD menu and i created my DVD with DVDmeastro does anyone now what's wrong??? because i don't now the problem (DVD burned 2X speed and it's a DVD-R -

    hope you know what's wrong (ps there is nothing wrong with my DVD player tried on several DVD players to play never works it

  2. What brand dvd player is it. Did you check the DVD webpage here to see what features your player has.

    Probably the disc type... chech to the right under DVD players for format compatibilities.

    It used to be that PS2 would play virtually NOTHING but commercially pressed DVDs. Don't know if this has changed.

    Pry open that wallet of yours and by a "real" DVD player!

    Is said before, he don't use ps2 as dvd player.

    yes, indeed because on the old one i didn't get any respose at all only from the mod. he said to give the media info so i did AND I DON'T USE PS2 AS DVD PLAYER

    What, if anything, does you player do ?
    Does it not see the disk, or give an error message ?

  10. It wouldn't hurt to add an empty AUDIO_TS folder... It might work then. I have had it happen on me once that when I copied a DVD manually (copying the video_ts folder by hand that is) and forgot to copy the accompanying (even though it usually is empty) audio_ts folder, the DVD would not work, while when adding a audio_ts folder and burn the dvd again, the dvd would work in a certain standalone player.

    This audio_ts is not required however and some burn programs don't even make them, but it is placed on the dvd (and left empty) for compatibility reasons. I have come across DVD players that would not work without this folder. Most work without it though...
