Would appreciate it if someone can explain to me why I can import a vob file in adobe premiere but the audio track doesnt appear...yet if I play the VOB file the audio is there...Is it that Premiere cannot separate the audio track from the vob file?...a bit confused since if I import an avi file..adobe seems to have no problem in separating the audio track....
Appreciate any explanation of this..a bit confused about it...
also is there a different type of audio codec that is used when you create a recorded DVD using a freestanding dvd recorder?
Many thanks for information

VOB files will usually have AC3 audio. Although it can have other formats also. It may be possible that your adobe premiere is not able to recognize AC3 audio. Do you have all the required audio plugins for your version of AP ?
