    ive been using dvd decrypter to rip, for this instance, Noir the anime, onto my computer for video editing (yes i own the dvds), and i have found that when i coinvert the vob to mpeg/avi the episode is not completed all the way, it falls short 1-2 mins, but this is not the case for all the episodes.
    i have alsof ound it to do it on family guy episodes too form the volume 1 and 2.

    anything i need to do to ensure i get teh full video?

    what are you converting with? dvddecrypter does not convert to avi.

    TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0
    i conver the .ac3 files with besweet gui

    i also use TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0 to demultiplex the vob file
