  1. Hey guys i would really like your help in this one.I want to create videos for my mobile se p910i.Which format would be better mp4 or divx/xvid?

I've tried mp4 using mpegable and a guide but didn't like the results except for the sound that was clear as a crystal.

Xvid from the other hand had nicer picture but bad sound.Even in 64kbps audio and 210 volume boost there was a lot of noise and it was an unclear audio.

What should i do?I really want the best result possible! Also how many bitrate can the mobile handle?I tested it at max 512 but it was like viewing a slideshow!Like pictures rolling frame by frame. But quality was top though!

  2. Ok let me be more specific lets say i have created the xvid. How can i then demux the xvid to audio and video and then normailze the audio and correct it and finally remuxi it?

Also does somebody know what bitrate can the mobile handle?

And at last how can i set 25 fps for the xvid?

I would really like your help.

  3. VirtualDubMod. Open file. Streams-stream list-Demux
64 kbps is very low for audio.
For muxing - the same - add. Save as- avi.
I don't know what it this "mobile".
What is your source and why you need 25 fps for XviD?

I was going to suggest 3gp (Easily created from most a/v formats with the free Nokia MultiMedia Converter V2) for the 910 (I've used it with my p800) but your quality demands seems a bit over the top - we're dealing with a cell phone here!

  5. 3gp is a very lossy format, and since mobiles support divx/xvid y not use it?

My mobile is p910i if that helps.

I just want to know what are the max capabilities.Meaning what fps, video and audio bitrate can support for decent playback.

    Thanx for the help.

PS:I am really big movie/tv show fan and i really need to enjoy them as much as possible, that's why the big demand!

I don't know, but that info should be available from the Sony Ericsson site, possibly you have to join their developer forum.

So am I, but I really loath viewing movies on anything smaller than 28", let alone 2-3"...

  7. Well so do i!I can't even see movies in my 17'' inch monitor so i use tv out to view them on my 29'' tv!

I don't even consider of the mobile being a substitute but it a good idea when you're not around!Like when i leave for university i spend an hour and a half on the bus don't doing anything, just waiting to arrive! With the mobile at least,i can now see a movie till i get there. That's my point!Better than nothing i mean!

So thanx for the help so far i'll try muxing the audio and let you guys know!

  9. Well actually on the pc it has sound strangely, only on the mobile there's no sound.Well if have video+audio and then add another audio like i did will that be ok?Cause ok i demuxed the audio but when i put it back there was already another audio.Isn't that supposed to be a problem?

How can i completeley remove the audio from the xvid and then add the new one?
