  1. This is a question for those who have use both TDA 1.6 and DVD-LAB. Why do you use one over the other. After I read some of the past posts I can pretty sum it up to these key points. If there is others plz mention it b/c that what I am after for.

    TDA
    PRO:ease of use

    DVD-Lab
    PRO:file format support

    The thing that I am really after is the dvd menu. Does DVD-Lab does a better job than TDA?

  2. DVD-Lab gives you much more freedom in your menu design and layout than TDA. Its learning curve is much steeper tho.

    Depends on what kind of menus you want.
    DLP can run circles around TDA, but it's much more difficult to learn, if you want advanced stuff.

  4. if you want advanced stuff
    Can you give me some example.
    What I really want to do is like in the Notebook.
    If any1 seen the notebook dvd they'd know exactly what i am talking about but anyway. When I click on a scene they 'd be bird flying right after I click it. That the type of menu I want to create. So is like
    CLICK--->ACTION--->Play the scene

    That would most likely be easier to do with DVD-Lab. However the "bird flying" will have to be a seperate movie that is liked to from the menu no matter what dvd auhtoring software you use.
