    Three little problems/questions:-

    1) I have downloaded microsoft's net utility to allow me to install and test svcd2dvd, but I want to use it on my laptop, which isn't on the net. VCDHELP's download file for svcd2dvd is a .msi file. What should I do to install svcd2dvd on my laptop?
    2) I have a slight audio problem.
If I input either an avi or a mpg (with audio - sterio or mono mp2 or pcm, 41khz or 48khz) file as an asset, svcd2dvd creates a mpg file of it, then transfers this to dvd. The mpg file that is created has audio, but the dvd has not, what am I doing wrong?
    3) Are motion menus supported as well as static ones?

  2. To answer question one:
Unless you have NET installed on your laptop, you cannot install/ use SVCD2DVD. Burn the NET install file to a CD-R & import it to your laptop to install it.

2: This should be sorted in RC8... Out later today or tomorrow. That said, does the DVD have audio when played back on the PC?

    3: Not at the moment.

Thanks CBC and ChrissyBoy, as soon as I get RC8, I'll register it, as, even without motion menus, it will be a very, very good program to use.
One last little question, assuming that RC8 is registered, what happens on future updates, are they automatically registered or do these need to be separately registered?

They need to be seperately registered. Either online or using the license file which is created after the first registration. Either way your initial reg code is used unless your PC has changed in a major way (like OS reinstallation)
