    I am using TMPGenc and attempting to encode a divx into an mpg, no matter what settings i choose the size of the movie is always the same, about 1 gig. i have lowered the bitrate many times and i still get exactly the same size. 1 min is always about 10mb! plz help i want to get it on to a 700mb cd but i have no clue what to do now.

    ok never mind, i fuigured it out, i hadn't changed the stream type to non-standard in the system tab......(it isn't in the instructions)
