    I'm very much a newbie when it comes to editing. But my goal is to change the font/colors the subtitles in an MKV.

    I'm already using VSFilter, but for some files it seems the settings are hard coded and can't be changed that way. So is there a relatively painless way of changing the font and colors? Thank you kindly!

    I guess extract, edit the IDX and then re-mux. I believe mkvextract now supports extracting vobsubs.
