    I made a backup for my girlfriend of woman art thou loosed and now that I want to make another backup of it, it fails in dvdshrink everytime at almost the end. i do not get it
    any ideas?

    use dvddecrypter in iso mode.

    iso read --> to your hard disc
    iso write --> to a blank dvd

    sounds like crappy media. try dvd decrypter and set ignore errors.
