  1. Does anyone know how I can convert a DVD to mov on a PC? I've searched this entire site but I only found a Mac guide.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Well, you can use Cinematize, but it isn't free. There's another thread about it going on here.

Another way that doesn't work quite as well as Cinematize is to use QuickTime Pro along with Apple's QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback component. Using the component, you can get video directly out of a VOB file into a QuickTime MOV, but not audio unless it is PCM audio (I think).

The component is available for Windows, but Apple in their wisdom charges something like US$20 for it. So, the total cost for Apple's method is something like this:
    QuickTime (free) + QuickTime Pro (US$30) + component (US$20) = US$50.
