i want to save a file to disk thats a little bigger then nero alows to fit on the disk......but nero say it can make it fit if i finalize it?????? what does that mean?????

thanks for the info....but one more question how can nero fit say 704mb onto a 700mb disk by finalizing it??

Finalization really just refers to the process of writing the leadout. In any case, the data required for the leadout is built into freespace estimates. Virtually no CD-R/RWs cutoff exactly at the 74 min. mark.
